Hello everyone,
I wanted to share some exciting progress on usgovexplained.org and a few of the improvements that are currently underway.
Complete Spanish Translation Now Available
One of the biggest milestones I've reached is the completion of the Spanish translation of the entire website.
The goal has always been simple: make information about how the United States government works accessible to as many people as possible. With tens of millions of Spanish speakers living in the United States, along with visitors, students, educators, and heritage speakers, providing this content in Spanish helps broaden access to civic education and government literacy.
Whether someone prefers English or Spanish, they can now explore the same information and educational resources on the site.
New Features and AI-Powered Enhancements
I'm also working on the next phase of development using a new Claude Code directive workflow that is helping accelerate improvements across the platform. Upcoming enhancements include:
- Better content organization and navigation
- Expanded educational resources
- Improved search capabilities
- Additional interactive learning tools
- Faster content updates and maintenance
- Greater accessibility for students, educators, and independent learners
My vision is to continue evolving the site into a practical educational resource for anyone who wants to better understand how American government functions.
A Small Favor That Can Make a Big Difference
If you find value in the project, I'd appreciate your help. Backlinks and referrals are one of the most important ways educational websites grow. If you're involved with any of these, please consider sharing or linking to usgovexplained.org:
- Schools
- Colleges and universities
- Homeschool programs
- Libraries
- Civic organizations
- Community groups
- Educational blogs
- Government and public policy discussion forums
Even a single link from an educational resource page, library guide, classroom website, or community organization can help more people discover the site and improve its visibility in search engines.
Looking Ahead
This project started as an effort to explain government in plain language. Today it continues to grow into a resource designed for students, educators, lifelong learners, and anyone interested in understanding the foundations of American government.
Thank you to everyone who has visited, shared feedback, and supported the project. Your encouragement and suggestions continue to drive new improvements.
If you'd like to support the project, the easiest way is to share the site with a friend, a classroom, an educational organization, or on social media. Together, we can help make civic education more accessible to everyone.
Thank you for your support,
David
